RDA Capricorn is managed on a day-to-day basis by Julie Osborne. She is known for her laid back manner, fondness for chickens and VERY loud voice!

Julie lives on the property with her family of boys who are often seen riding their bikes around the property.

Tilly started at RDA as a volunteer shortly after Capricorn moved onto the property and many years later, is not only a qualified RDA Coach but also an Occupational Therapist (OT) who has developed animal therapy within her OT business and continues to coach at Capricorn on Saturdays.

Denise and Abbi are the two other Capricorn coaches, with Mike, Sharon, Sophie, Tara and Jo all qualified assistant coaches (Level 0).

All of our coaches rely on a large group of amazing volunteers who fetch the horses, tack them up, hold them for our riders to mount and lead them throughout the lessons.  They then remove their tack and return them to their paddocks, just in time to feed them their lunches at the end of the morning sessions.

Many of our volunteers come to us with little or no horse knowledge and experience, and place their trust in us to show them the ropes and we watch in amazement as they develop their own personal relationship with horses.
